Our Best Answer What is the difference between a program and IU GPA?

A Program GPA is calculated according to the rules determined by the particular academic program in which a student is enrolled. The IU GPA is based on standard, university-wide rules.  For example, all X-ed grades are honored and all coursework/grades are included in the IU GPA.  This GPA is stable and persistent, no matter which program of study you choose and it is the more customary GPA information based on standard, university-wide rules. To view your current GPA, go to One.IU then Unofficial Transcript. To view the grading system and GPA calculation information visit our website.
