Question? Ask Student Central:

Our Best Answer Does IU match other financial aid offers?

We understand the challenges of meeting the financial demands of a college education.

As a public university, Indiana University has limited funds available for our merit and need-based financial aid programs.  All students are awarded the maximum amount of financial aid for which they are eligible based on their application materials and FAFSA.  Unfortunately, the Office of Student Financial Assistance does not have additional funding available to match awards offered by other institutions or increase the financial aid awards previously offered. We wish you success as you compare the various options for your college education, and hope that Indiana University will remain your top choice.
