Question? Ask Student Central:

Our Best Answer What is MoneySmarts U?

Learning how to manage money and make smart financial decisions is an important part of a college education.

But too often, financial literacy programs are administered either right at the beginning of a student's education—when they're not really paying attention—or at the end of their college career, when it's too late to help them avoid debt.

Enter MoneySmarts U.

This program consists of seven 60-minute video courses (with 14 more on the way) covering financial literacy topics that every student needs to understand. These video courses tackle the big stuff, like student loans, as well as the smaller, but still important financial decisions students make, like whether or not to have a car on campus.

Best of all? They're available on demand, right when students need them. To learn more about MoneySmarts U, email mnysmrt@iu.edu or visit moneysmarts.iu.edu.
