Verification is the process of confirming the accuracy of information that was reported by you and your parents or spouse on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Each year FAFSA applicants nationwide are selected for verification. Selected students must complete verification before financial aid eligibility can be reviewed and disbursed to the student’s account. You will be contacted by our office if you are selected for verification. Notification will come by mail. You’ll also see the verification items in your One.IU To-Do List. Once you turn in all requested documents, please allow at least 10-15 business days for your account to be updated. More information regarding verification can be found on our website.
